Children get attracted to all things colourful, be it clothes, sketch pens or food. Naturally coloured rainbow savoury and sweet pancakes:
3. ½ Cup Slurrp Farm Chocolate Millet Pancake
4. 1/2 Cup Slurrp Farm Classic Millet Pancake
5. One cup of milk
6. 2 eggs
7. ½ Cup of brown sugar
8. 2 Strands of saffron soaked in milk
9. ¼ Cup grated carrots
10. ½ cup red cabbage soaked in baking soda and water
11. Baking soda
1. In 6 separate small bowls, add the dosa/ pancake mixes. Divide the Classic Millet Pancake portion into three bowls. Sprinkle salt in all of them to season.
2. In a large bowl whisk together milk, eggs and sugar. Add the liquid portion to all the smalls in equal quantity.
3. Whisk the bowls to create the batter. The spinach, chocolate and beetroot mixes will naturally become green, brown and red respectively.
4. In the other non-coloured three bowls, add 1 tbsp of yellow saffron milk, 1bsp of the blanched blue liquid from red cabbage and the grated carrots respectively to the bowls.
5. On a flat skillet, melt butter and fry the pancakes one colour at a time.
6. Assemble all the six colours on top of the other with a butter square and syrup on top. Serve hot.
