When can we start Sathu Maavu?

Sathu maavu is a very wholesome and nutritious food for babies. It can be fed to babies above six months of age. It is protein-packed from the goodness of dals and is one of the best ways to gain a healthy weight.

How can we use sathu maavu in different ways?

We don't add any salt or refined sugar in sathu maavu. So, you can cook sathu maavu sweet or savoury way - roll it into laddoo, add it to your soups or blend it into an energy-dense shake or smoothie. It can be added to any sweet or savoury preparation.

Can sathu maavu be given to all age groups?

Sathu Maavu is made using traditional grains, dals, spices, dried fruit, and nuts that provide proteins, fiber, energy, calcium, and other essential nutrients and help gain strength. It is filling and can be consumed by everyone, even by our grandparents! So, with so many benefits for all - yes, why not.

Sathu maavu should only be given in summers?

Sathu Maavu, made with just chickpeas, is best during summers for its cooling properties. However, Slurrp Farm Sathu Maavu is all-season food as we have made it with Ragi, Jowar (Sorghum), Foxtail Millet, Moong Dal, Bengal Gram, Brown Rice, Almond Powder and Cardamom powder. It's a personal experience that my child keeps fretting over food,be it home made food or packaged porridges.But I have never ever faced any tantrums when given specially SATHU MAAVU to my child.She simply finishes without any fussing.I am sure she loves your product and definitely appeals her taste bud too.
*As a parent I have recently noticed that you have opted out the 13 vitamins&minerals in the package.Just a request to reintroduce the vitamins & minerals coz as a parent we feel it as a complete out and out meal for the child.
