Treat your little ones to this delicious Date Toffee made with fresh chhenna, cocoa, crunchy nuts, puffed rice, and Slurrp Farm Date Powder. This wholesome homemade treat is made is naturally sweetened with date powder, that gives kids sustained energy. It’s a fuss-free sweet that moms can make easily and kids will ask for again and again!

Curdle 1 litre of milk with lemon juice to make fresh chhenna. Let the chhenna cool.
Once the chenna has cooled, knead it with half cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, a pinch of nutmeg powder and one-fourth cup of date powder. Then boil a cup of milk and cook till it comes together into a thick paste. Make sure it's not watery. Cool this mixture.
Once this mixture has cooled down completely, make small toffees and stuff them with chopped cashewnuts, almonds and pistachios.
Coat the toffees with puffed rice for an extra crunch.
Wrap them like toffees using butter paper. Your date toffee is ready to serve!
