Our cereals are ideal for babies 6 months+ who have started weaning.

Why do you not write the age on your cereals?

We do not write an age on the box, as each child has their own food journey. Every child’s food journey is unique. Our cereals are suitable once little ones start solids. If your baby has tried single-grain options (like rice or ragi), it’s a good time to try Slurrp Farm cereals.

What is the difference between ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat cereals?

Ready-to-Cook: Cook with water/milk for 3–5 minutes. Instant: Just add lukewarm/hot water, rest for 3–5 minutes, and serve.

Which are instant and ready-to-cook cereals?

Instant: Wheat Apple Banana, Wheat Apple Banana with Dates, Multigrain (Strawberry, Mango, Banana), Multigrain Millets & Mixed Fruit with Milk, Moong Dal Khichdi, Millet & Oat Porridge. Ready-to-Cook: Sprouted Ragi, Rolled Oats, Ragi Apple Banana, Raw Banana Powder, Sathu Maavu, Ragi Almond Banana.

How to store the product once it's opened?

Transfer to an airtight container or refrigerate. Use within 30 days (no preservatives).

Why is only Ragi used in most of your cereals?

Ragi is nature's Supergrain and a key ingredient in most of our products. It's packed with essential micronutrients like calcium and iron. Beyond its nutritional benefits, ragi is also beneficial for farmers and the planet. It requires significantly less water to grow compared to other grains. Additionally, it's a naturally organic grain, as its hardiness reduces the need for extensive pesticides or fertilizers.

Do cereals have preservatives, salt, or sugar?

No added preservatives, salt, or sugar. Sodium, if present, comes naturally from grains, fruits, and veggies.

Can we give your cereal to children below 6 months?

No. Experts recommend exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months. Once weaning begins, start with single-grain cereals like Sprouted Ragi, Rolled Oats, or Raw Banana Powder.

How are Slurrpfarm Cereals different from other cereals?

They’re free from maida, refined sugar, artificial colors, and preservatives. Made with 100% real ingredients.

How to make the cereals with Formula/Breastfeeding milk?

Cook the cereal with water, then mix in prepared formula or expressed breast milk.

How to avoid lumps in the cereals?

Add water/milk gradually while stirring to maintain a smooth consistency.

How many scoops of cereal can be given to the children?

Start with 1–2 scoops, increase gradually based on your child’s appetite.

If it is mentioned that there is no salt in the cereals then where is the sodium coming from?

We do not add salt to our cereals. The sodium content is naturally occurring from the grains, fruits, and vegetables used in our ingredients. Our claim has always been "no salt added," not "no sodium."

Can we cook instant cereals?

Not required, just add hot water.

After preparing cereals, how long can we store them?

Best consumed immediately. If needed, use within a couple of hours.

Can we consume the cereals after 30 days if they are stored in an air-tight container or kept in the fridge?

As we do not use preservatives, we recommend consuming it within a month or expiry which ever is earlier.

Can we give the cereals to the children who have a cold, cough or fever?

Yes, they’re safe. Still, consult your pediatrician if unsure.

Do you use real fruits in your cereals?

Yes. Fruits are dehydrated and powdered before mixing in cereals.

What is the shelf life of the cereals?

12 months sealed. Once opened, store it in an air tight container and use within 30 days.

How are vitamins and minerals added to the cereals?

Fortified in powdered form as per government dietary requirements.

How to enhance taste without sugar/salt?

Add fruit purée, mashed veggies, or natural sweeteners like date powder/jaggery.

Can I use milk powder to prepare the cereal?

Yes, you can use milk or milk powder as per your child’s preference.
