Veggie Oatmeal Blend Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 tbsp oats
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1/2 cup diced carrots
  • 1/2 cup beans (cut into small pieces)
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • Water (for boiling vegetables)

Method

  1. Prepare Oats:
  • Blend oats into a fine powder using a blender or food processor.
  1. Roast Oats:
  • In a pan, roast the oat powder until it releases a nutty aroma. 
  1. Cook Oats:
  • Add milk to the pan with the roasted oats powder. Cook, stirring continuously, until the mixture reaches a porridge-like consistency.
  1. Prepare Vegetables:
  • Boil the diced carrots, beans, and green peas in water until they are tender. Drain and strain them.
  1. Mash Vegetables:
  • Use a masher to mash the strained vegetables to a smooth consistency.
  1. Combine Ingredients:
  • Add the mashed vegetables to the oats porridge. Whisk thoroughly to combine the mixture.
  1. Serve:
  • Serve hot and enjoy your nutritious veggie oatmeal!
