Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp moong dal khichdi mix
  • 1/2 cup water

Steps:

  1. Prepare the Khichdi Mixture:
    • Pour 1/2 cup of water into a saucepan.
    • Add 3 tablespoons of moong dal khichdi mix to the water.
    • Use a fork to mix and break up any lumps in the khichdi mix until well combined.
  2. Cook the Khichdi:
    • Place the saucepan over medium heat.
    • Cook the mixture for 3-5 minutes, stirring continuously.
    • Stirring continuously ensures the khichdi cooks evenly and achieves a smooth consistency.
    • Once the khichdi reaches a porridge-like consistency and is cooked through, remove the saucepan from the heat.
  3. Cool and Serve:
    • Allow the khichdi to cool to room temperature.
    • Serve the moong dal khichdi immediately as a warm and comforting meal.
