Ingredients
- 2 cups diced beetroot
- 3 tbsp ragi powder
- Water (for boiling)
Method
- Boil the diced beetroot until tender. Strain and let it cool.
- Once cooled, blend the boiled beetroot into a smooth paste.
- In a pot, bring water to a boil.
- Lower the flame and add ragi powder to the boiling water.
- Whisk continuously for about 5 minutes to ensure there are no lumps and the mixture reaches a porridge consistency.
- Stir in the beetroot paste into the ragi porridge. Mix thoroughly.
- Allow the porridge to cool to room temperature before serving.
