Ingredients:

- 1 cup sathu maavu powder
- 2 tbsp date powder (optional)
- Raisins (for garnish)
Method:
- Prepare Dough
- In a mixing bowl, combine butter and date powder. Mix well.
- Add sathu maavu powder to the mixture. Mix and knead until it forms a smooth dough.
- Roll Out Dough:
- Place the dough between two sheets of butter paper. Roll out the dough into a thick sheet.
- Cut Cookies:
- Use a cookie cutter to cut out shapes from the rolled dough.
- Prepare for Baking:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Place the cookie shapes on the lined tray.
- Add Raisins:
- Place a raisin on top of each cookie.
- Bake:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown.
- Serve:
- Allow the biscuits to cool before serving.
