Sathu Maavu Paniarams

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp sathu maavu powder
  • 3-4 peeled and mashed elaichi bananas
  • Grated coconut (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • Water (as needed)


Method

  1. Prepare the Mixture:
  • In a mixing bowl, add the sathu maavu powder.
  • Mix in the cardamom powder and grated coconut.
  1. Add Bananas:
  • Mash the bananas with a fork.
  • Add the mashed bananas to the mixing bowl.
  1. Make the Batter:
  • Gradually add water to the mixture and stir well to form a smooth paste.
  1. Cook the Paniarams:
  • Heat the paniaram pan.
  • Add 1 tbsp of the batter into each cavity of the pan.
  • Cook until the bottom side is golden brown, then use a spoon to flip the paniarams and cook the other side until golden brown.
  1. Serve:
  • Serve warm.
