Ingredients 4 tbsp sathu maavu mix 1 cup water 1 tomato (plus additional water for boiling) A pinch of cumin powder (or mustard powder) 1/2 tsp ghee Instructions Prepare Tomato Puree: Boil water in a pot and cook the tomato until the peel starts to tear. Let the tomato cool, then remove the peel. Blend the peeled tomato to make a smooth puree. Make Porridge: In a saucepan, combine 1 cup water with the sathu maavu mix. Stir with a fork to remove any lumps. Cook the mixture over medium heat for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the tomato puree, cumin or mustard powder, and ghee. Mix well. Serve Serve the porridge warm. For a thinner consistency, you can add more water to make it like a healthy soup. Enjoy!
